Andreas Sander

Managing Partner

Andreas Sander, born 1964, married father of two children. He completed his training as a radio electronics technician at the Blaupunkt company in 1980 and, after a one-year stay in the USA, worked as a sales representative for the then Braunschweig-based computer wholesaler Frank & Walter.

In 1993, he founded the company KOSATEC Computer with €3,000 in start-up capital from a garage in Rötgesbüttel. During his 30 years of self-employment, Andreas Sander has developed his company into a pan-European IT distributor with a turnover of €1.6 billion in the last 3 financial years, 300 employees and 8 locations.

In the B2B business, KOSATEC supplies over 10,000 customers with IT components of all kinds. These include online retailers, mail order companies, area markets, system houses, small-medium business customers, public-sector clients and industry.

The whole world is digitalizing, and we at KOSATEC, our customers, our suppliers are making a tidy contribution to this.

Andreas Sander is a member of the General Assembly of the Braunschweig Chamber of Commerce and Industry as well as a member of the Industry, Trade and Elections Committee.

Andreas Sander is a musician, enjoys playing tennis and has been a regular at the Gym since 1985.

Siegbert Wortmann

Managing Partner

Siegbert Wortmann, born October 30, 1955 in Hüllhorst, is a German computer pioneer and entrepreneur. He is married and the father of three children. A trained banker, he founded Wortmann Terra Impex Computer- und Datenverarbeitungs GmbH in 1986 together with his business partner Thomas Knicker.

Through his commitment to the regional economy and the goal of creating jobs in the region, Wortmann has made an important contribution to the economic development of Hüllhorst and the surrounding area. Since June 05, 2013, Siegbert Wortmann has also been a co-owner of KOSATEC GmbH in Braunschweig. With his know-how and experience in the IT industry, he is helping to ensure that the company can continue to operate successfully in the market.

His entrepreneurial success and commitment to the region make him an important representative of the German economy and a role model for budding entrepreneurs. In 2007, he received the Federal Cross of Merit on Ribbon for his commitment.

Siegbert Wortmann plays tennis in his spare time.

Stephan Waldvogel

Managing Director

Stephan Waldvogel, born in 1971, father of two children. In 1988, he completed his training as an administrative assistant at the joint municipality of Schöppenstedt. In 1993, he moved from administration to sales and worked for several years for the then computer wholesale company Frank & Walter. It was there that his and Andreas Sander's paths crossed for the first time.

While Andreas Sander founded KOSATEC Computer GmbH in 1993, Stephan Waldvogel initially worked at Trion AG from 1993-2003. As this was a supplier of KOSATEC, close contact with Andreas Sander continued during this period. In 2003, Stephan Waldvogel started his career at KOSATEC, initially as Sales Manager, and in 2006 he took over as Sales Director. In November 2021, he then took on the next big challenge and has since been Managing Director of the successful IT distributor from Braunschweig.

Stephan Waldvogel enjoys playing soccer and tennis in his free time.
